Choosing your Greeting Cards

Personalised Greeting Cards are ordered for occasions where a shop-bought card will not do: a photograph for grandparents, a card sent to a long list at Christmas, or a business sending something to clients. Quantities are counted by household. Because the message inside is usually handwritten, the printed side is normally kept to an image and a few words. Most designs can be uploaded as finished artwork or created from scratch in the Design Studio.

Common questions.

What are personalised greeting cards used for?+
Most often for occasions where the card itself is the point: a photograph sent to family, Christmas cards to a long list, thank you cards after an event, or a business sending something to clients rather than an email.
How many greeting cards should we order?+
Count households rather than individuals. For Christmas, working from last year's list is the usual method, with a few spares for people who send one first and are not on it.
Should the message be printed inside or handwritten?+
A handwritten message is usual for personal cards, so the printed side stays simple. A printed message inside is more common for business cards sent in volume, where writing each one individually is not practical.
When should Christmas cards be ordered?+
Late November for UK posting is comfortable, and earlier for cards going overseas. Ordering in October is worth considering, since printing and postal services both get busier through December.
Can we print a photo on a greeting card?+
Yes. A high-resolution photograph prints well at card size; images saved from social media are often too compressed. Every file is checked for size and resolution before it goes to print.
Do greeting cards come with envelopes?+
Envelope options are shown with the sizes when ordering, so cards and envelopes can be bought together rather than sourced separately once the cards arrive.
